This was a mostly good week as I focused on self-care and being kind to myself.
1. My go-to breakfast of brown rice, a poached egg, and half an avocado. It takes about 5 minutes to whip this up as I keep a container of brown rice at the ready at all times. There is something deliciously creamy and silky when you mix it all together, almost like a strange rice porridge.
2. My little tomato plants are chugging along. I can wait for this section to ripen the rest of the way. They already smell amazing.
3. I was able to harvest another 5 cherry tomatoes this week. I very much appreciate that they are ripening in a reasonable amount. I'm waiting for an avalanche of cherry tomatoes in a few weeks that I'll have to figure out what to do with.
4. This is a neat looking building near our apartment. I walk by it all the time and finally made a point to take a picture of it. I think I'll try to take another picture when the sun is out.
